The Republican Underground - How We Got Here

The following is a letter I wrote to a friend of mine on the evening of 5 Nov 08 after it sunk in that BHO bought, I mean won, the Presidency.

Well, Doc, here we are: sunset on the first day of The New Civil War. I got up early to watch the sunrise, as that is the only empirical way I can prove to myself that the world is still spinning.

Early morning is my favorite time of day. It is so quiet and peaceful. I love being there when the light starts changing and all the critters start waking up. Every time I witness that daily miracle, I remind myself that it's like that every single day: quiet, calm, and full of God's handiwork. Yet only a few times a year do I slow down enough to witness the natural world's daily epiphany. It's a sad commentary on life these days: too busy to enjoy a sunrise. Shameful.

I say all of that because I spent most of the day being angry. The interesting thing is that I'm not mad at democrats and socialist-liberals for putting this dangerous empty suit into the highest office in the land. That's what they were supposed to do!

How can we blame them?

When a tiger mauls a circus handler for poking at it with sticks, we can't be mad at the tiger! He's just being a tiger.

I'm mad at the 20% of conservatives that voted for Obama in the hopes that somehow this will punish the GOP for not being conservative enough. These party ideologues are willing to risk the fate of the entire Nation and all her people in order to teach Republicans a lesson.

Are you fucking kidding me?!?!

Those selfish assholes would rather see Obama get elected along with a bicameral democrat near-supermajority who will all work together to pack the Supreme Court with at least two, maybe three, uber-left activist judges that will sit in judgment of our society for twenty years or more!

This action is the most destuctive, myopic, selfish act of bird-flipping that I have ever witnessed. They are playing Russian Roullette with the entire electorate, but this time if there is a bullet in the chamber, we all get shot.

So, I'm angry. I have no white guilt, so I don't think we somehow "owed" this to the black man to make up for an ugly historical period in our Nation's history. I'm also angry that there are not howls of racism against the black population at large. 95% of black voters voted for this idiot because he is black! That statistic alone should send chills down the spines of average Americans who honeslty have no problem with a person's color. The fact that 95% of blacks voted for Obama is proof positive that it is THEY who are responsible for the racism that supposedly plagues all of us crackers.

By God, if voting AGAINST Obama because he's black is racist, then voting FOR him because he's black is equally racist.

The point of any election is to elect the most qualified candidate for the office in question. It's not to teach certain constituent blocs a lesson in humility, or make reparations to an ethic group for something which none of us were responsible!

I'm angry that the youth vote was cast by mind-numbed idiots that have been subjected to socialist indoctrination classes in university lecture halls by people like William Ayers, yet the same young voters have no real-world experience with the issues that shape the political landscape, namely taxes, jobs, healthcare, etc.

What the hell does a college freshman know about corporate taxation, dividend caps, or health insurance premiums?

This election was a public display of the collective ignorance of our people. Unlike some people in our circle, I don't think it is mass insanity. It's mass stupidity.

Stay in touch,
Mitch Rapp

So here we are in the Republican Underground. You are either with us or against us. There is no middle ground.

The GOP has always been the party of ideas, but we have been abandoned by our party. Yet that does not mean that we should abandon our ideas. Old school Reagan conservatives must take back the GOP. We must ignite a 21st Century Reagan Revolution.

It starts now. It starts here.

Wolverines!!!
